Centered full-body portrait

A full-length portrait with the subject standing in the middle of the frame and plenty of scene around them. The centered placement feels calm and confident, and the distance shows the whole outfit.

How to shoot it

1Camera heightHold the camera at the subject's chest height.
21.5x zoomShoot with 1.5x zoom to keep proportions natural.
34m+ distanceStand at least 4 metres away from the subject.
4Head at centerAlign the subject's head with the center of the frame.

Using it in slay

Open slay, pick Portrait 1 from the guide picker and the overlay appears on your live viewfinder. Line your subject up with the guide using the gold crosshair, follow the height, angle and zoom above, and shoot — no cropping or editing needed. Finish the look with one of 38 built-in LUTs.
