Two-Point Vertex
Two subjects on a diagonal
Food & café
Two subjects — say a drink and a pastry — sit on opposite grid intersections along a diagonal. The diagonal line between them adds energy and leads the eye across the frame.
How to shoot it
- 1Side lightUse natural light from a window-side seat.
- 2High 45°Shoot looking down at a 45° angle from above.
- 32–4x zoomStay at least 2 metres away and use 2–4x zoom.
- 4Vertex placementPlace the two subjects diagonally at grid intersections — the smaller one at the bottom, the larger one at the top.
Tip: A diagonal arrangement adds visual tension.
Using it in slay
Open slay, pick Two-Point Vertex from the guide picker and the overlay appears on your live viewfinder. Line your subject up with the guide using the gold crosshair, follow the height, angle and zoom above, and shoot — no cropping or editing needed. Finish the look with one of 38 built-in LUTs.
