15 outdoor maternity photo ideas (beach, field, forest and city)

Outdoor maternity photos work best in the last hour before sunset, when the light is soft and warm and comes from the side. A long, flowing dress catches the wind, and a wide landscape gives the bump a sense of place. Pick one location, plan for 30 to 45 minutes, and bring water and a chair.
