Glamour Avenue
An FW26/27 campaign shot entirely in nature — and framed so the landscape never steals the look.

“slay made the environment part of the collection instead of a distraction from it. Every frame lands the same way, outdoors or in the studio.”
Glamour Avenue builds its seasonal campaigns around a single idea. For Fall/Winter 26/27 that idea was Beauty of Nature — an entire collection photographed outdoors, against hayfields, stone and open sky.
The problem: a beautiful set that fought the clothes
Shooting fashion in nature is a balancing act. The backdrop is stunning, which is exactly the danger — the landscape pulls the eye away from the garment, and the light changes while you are still deciding where to stand.
"We loved the location and hated the first edits," the team says. "The collection disappeared into the scenery. It looked like travel photography with a model in it."
The shift: framing the look, not the view
Before the second shoot, the team set rules with slay's guides.
- Rule of thirds keeps the look on a vertical line while the landscape fills the rest of the frame.
- Two-thirds anchors the full-length silhouette so the hem and the ground line up every time.
- Negative space turns open sky and field into breathing room instead of competition.
- Centered symmetry locks the FW26/27 title cards so type and subject stay perfectly aligned.
Because the guides sit on the live viewfinder, the model and the photographer align in real time. Nobody waits for a monitor, and nobody guesses.
We stopped reviewing 400 frames to find five. The composition was decided before the shutter.
The result: one visual language, shot in two days
The campaign now reads as a single piece — hayfield, woodland and stone all framed the same way, so the collection stays the hero in every image. The team shot the entire FW26/27 campaign in two outdoor days and went into editing with almost no framing fixes.
